Privacy Policy

How Dotti collects, uses, protects and deletes information across its AI, CRM and social-integration services.

Effective and last updated: 23 August 2026

1. Who we are

Dotti is an AI-powered sales, marketing, customer-engagement and social-media automation service operated by Dott Media in Uganda. Contact us at info@dott-media.org.

2. Information we collect

We may collect your name, email, telephone number and authentication identifiers; business, brand, CRM, lead and campaign information; content, prompts, messages and files you submit; connected-platform identifiers, pages, profiles, permissions, access tokens and performance data; billing status and transaction references; device, diagnostic, security and usage information; and support correspondence.

3. Connected services

When you connect Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube or another service, Dotti receives the information and permissions you approve. We use them to provide requested publishing, scheduling, analytics, messaging and account-management features. Each provider separately governs its platform and data.

4. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide AI, publishing, automation, CRM, analytics and support; execute authorized actions; personalize Dotti; process subscriptions; detect abuse and technical problems; send service notices; improve Dotti; and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.

5. AI processing

Prompts, business context and selected content may be sent to AI and infrastructure providers to generate requested output. Users must not submit information they lack authority to process. AI output can be inaccurate and should be reviewed before publication or business use.

6. Legal bases

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent, to meet legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as security, support and product improvement, provided those interests do not override your rights.

7. Sharing and providers

We share information only as needed with hosting, database, authentication, communications, analytics, AI, payment and connected-platform providers; professional advisers; authorities where legally required; and a successor in a lawful corporate transaction. Providers are limited to their assigned purpose and applicable safeguards.

8. Payments

Paid subscriptions may be processed by Stripe, Flutterwave, Google Play or another disclosed provider. Dotti does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or security codes. Payment providers process payment details under their own privacy policies.

9. Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. After deletion, we remove or de-identify account data subject to backups, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legally required tax, payment or compliance records. Backup copies expire through operational retention cycles.

10. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted credentials, monitoring and other reasonable safeguards. No online service guarantees absolute security. Protect your credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

11. International transfers

Dotti and its providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.

12. Your rights

Depending on law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection; withdraw consent; disconnect integrations; manage marketing communications; or complain to a regulator. We may verify identity before fulfilling a request.

13. Account deletion

Delete your account inside Dotti from Profile, or use our web deletion page. Deletion removes Dotti account access and associated personal data, subject to lawful retention. Content already published to third-party platforms must be removed there.

14. Children

Dotti is not intended for children under 13 or the higher minimum digital-consent age applicable in their country. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

15. Changes

We may update this policy as Dotti changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel. The effective date below identifies the current version.
