Terms of Service

The rules for using Dotti, its AI features, connected social platforms, subscriptions and account services.

Effective and last updated: 23 August 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern Dotti, an AI sales, marketing, CRM, publishing and automation service operated by Dott Media. By using Dotti, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live. If you use Dotti for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

3. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, protect credentials and keep contacts current. You are responsible for activity through your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Dotti may require email, telephone or additional verification.

4. Connected platforms

Connect only accounts you own or may manage. Use of Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube and other services remains subject to their terms. Platform approval, permissions, APIs and availability may change independently of Dotti.

5. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Dott Media a limited worldwide licence to host, process, reproduce and transmit it solely to operate, secure and improve Dotti and perform your instructions. You remain responsible for permissions, accuracy, legality and publication approval.

6. AI-generated output

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, similar to other output or unsuitable for your purpose. Review output before publishing or relying on it. Dotti does not provide legal, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Dotti for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, infringing or dangerous activity; spam; credential theft; malware; circumvention of platform rules; unauthorized surveillance; or attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer or improperly access any system.

8. Plans and billing

Dotti offers Free, Creator ($49/month) and Business ($399/month) plans, subject to displayed taxes, currency and limits. Free requires no payment credentials. Paid plans renew until cancelled through the applicable provider or account controls. Fees already incurred are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise.

9. Limits and changes

Plans may limit AI replies, images, video, scheduled posts, integrations, storage or team features. We may modify features, limits or prices with reasonable notice where practicable.

10. Availability

We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, Internet failures, third-party outages and API changes may affect service. Beta features may change or be withdrawn.

11. Intellectual property

Dotti, its software, design, branding, documentation and service content belong to Dott Media or its licensors. No intellectual-property rights transfer except the limited right to use the service under these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, security risk, non-payment, unlawful conduct, platform-policy violations or legal requirements. You may stop using Dotti and delete your account at any time.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Dotti is provided “as is” and “as available.” Dott Media disclaims implied warranties and any guarantee of sales, reach, engagement, leads or business results.

14. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dott Media is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or lost-profit damages, lost data, third-party platform actions or user-published content. Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for Dotti in the preceding 12 months.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Dott Media against third-party claims arising from your content, connected accounts, violation of law or platform rules, or material breach of these Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Ugandan law. The parties will first attempt good-faith informal resolution. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, disputes are submitted to courts of competent jurisdiction in Uganda.

17. Contact and changes

Questions may be sent to info@dott-media.org. We may update these Terms and will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
